RFicient® is an innovative solution designed for wireless applications, offering several years of operation with minimal maintenance. Powered by ultra-low-power receiver technology, RFicient® allows continuous monitoring of a radio channel with power consumption in the microwatt range, responding within milliseconds. This technology enables mobile applications to maintain 24/7 connectivity with an extended lifespan of up to 10 years. Developed by the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS, the RFicient® chip can reduce power consumption by up to 99%.
